WD Door in Ankeny, Iowa partnered with Strahan Construction Inc. on a new residential build, completing the installation of four garage doors. This project featured white 10’ x 8’ Haas garage doors from the American Tradition Series (Model 9641), each designed with 8-pane windows. These doors deliver the timeless appearance of a handcrafted wooden carriage house door while utilizing modern, durable materials.

The American Tradition 9600 Series doors are 2” thick and include a full thermal break, polyurethane insulation, and rust-resistant construction for long-term performance and energy efficiency.

Each garage door was paired with a LiftMaster 98022 jackshaft opener and 877LM keyless entry, providing smooth, quiet operation and the reliability of a backup battery to maintain access during power outages.

Our WD Door experts in Omaha, Nebraska, partnered with BHI Development to get garage doors installed for some of their newly built residential homes. Our professional technicians installed a 16’ x 7’ Haas 2570L steel door from the Steel 2500 series. This door features rust resistance, with wind load and impact options available.

WD Door in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, partnered with Haverkamp Construction to install multiple garage doors at The Emory, located in North Liberty, Iowa. Our garage door experts installed multiple doors, some of which were Haas 320I doors, as pictured.  These doors feature rust and corrosion resistance, insulated rail options, heavy duty frame that will provide the most flexibility.

The Emory in North Liberty is an apartment complex that will offer its residents an abundance of amenities like a clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, golf and gaming simulator, basketball court, and a tanning deck among many other features!

WD Door in eastern Iowa was hired by High Development Corp to install 16’x7’ Haas doors on multiple units in the Cedar Rapids area. The style of door used is from the Steel 2500 Series, specifically 2580L, a raised short panel in the color Sandstone with Prairie Windows. The Steel 2500 Series is known for its strength and durability because of its Nominal 24-gauge steel. It is 2” thick with a Tongue-and-Groove Construction.

In addition to the Haas garage doors, WD Door also installed LiftMaster 81650 operators, paired with 877LM Keyless Entry. The operator works with Amazon Key, which enables convenient and secure in-garage delivery for packages. You can also receive real-time insights with the myQ app.

WD Door in Omaha was hired by D.R. Horton to install multiple Clopay T-52 long panel doors in the color white. These particular doors are part of the Classic Clopay line, which features a 2-layer construction of steel plus 1-5/16” of polystyrene insulation. T52L doors are built to be energy-efficient and durable.

Each of the doors was then paired with a LiftMaster 81650 opener which features home connectivity with MyQ, safety and security.

After 20 years with their wooden garage doors, an Iowa City homeowner decided it was time for an upgrade. WD Door, Home of Doors by George, was hired by a residential homeowner in Marion to install two Wayne Dalton 8500 garage doors in a white Sonoma style. Wayne Dalton’s 8500 model is considered one of the best-insulated garage doors, that are made with two durable layers of steel. Model 8500 is the highest insulated residential garage door with an R-value of 16.22 of polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation. The windows selected are Stockton III, frosted over Vinyl.

WD Door, Home of Doors by George, was hired by a residential homeowner in Marion to install two Haas doors from the Haas 700 series. The wood grain was English Oak, with insulated tempered Bronze/Frosted plain windows stacked, and trimmed with brown weatherstripping. These garage doors were paired with LiftMaster 8155W Belt Drive openers, with three 893 Remotes and a Liftmaster 877LM Keyless Entry.
